Happy New Year, all!

Hilde here, and I'm reporting from my room because lately I've been sick. Oh won't someone come over and risk catching my cold to keep me warm? ;) Last year was crazy and hopefully you all made it out alive. As I raise my (imaginary) glass, I hope you all enjoy your new year with prosperity, love, and hope. *clinkies!*

Miss me? ^_^

Sorry to all of you who have been wondering where I've been. The thing is, not only have I been fabric shopping for our new spring line, but I also have other duties... I'm not telling! :P So I've been showing photos to everyone who asks, but they also want to know if I got anything of her singing because Trisha's usually so shy! ;) yeah, right...like she was with Jason? Hmmm... ;D I'm so evil, I know!

To make things worse, as Trisha would think, I've got a video of her singing!!! When we lived in Japan we made a quick buck making singles and yours truly, as well as me, sang songs under some music companies. We could have made something out of ourselves, but because of the music scene there, they tend to replace you with the next youngest and prettiest faces. Such is life! :P But without further ado, here's Trisha singing a sad love song:

D'awwww Trisha, don't be modest! She's working the shop as I type this, taking a break from sewing, designing, and whatnot, so she'll get to see this after her shift. Blind date.

Everyone who comes to the shop, as well as friends overseas who keep in touch, have been asking me who my new gentleman caller is... *stares daggers at Hilde* Well, his name is Jason and he's a saxophone player for a band called the Spider Monkeys. He's very charming, very sweet, and sexy... Ahem.

The evening started off great with me singing with the band. Hilde's got pictures, but I refuse to let her post them online :P So you'll have to come in and bug her... By now, she's probably made a scrapbook *eye-roll* Afterwards, we had dinner and even danced. Needless to say...

Best be quick...

Hilde and Essence are in bed, but I thought I'd update fast kine [hawaiian creole]. Dinner was amazing! We had Hilde's chicken parmesan with white wine, as for dessert I baked a chantilly cake! I'm having a sneak before going to bed, but don't tell anyone! ;) Some of you might think this is out of character of me, considering the fact that Hilde is usually the silly one, but tonight I blame the wine, sugar, and ice cream. Maybe I'll go to the rooftop for a smoke, besides I need to check on...something/someone.

Raindrops on roses, and whiskers on kittens...

Ah, nothing like a bubble bath to ease the pains.

I can hear Trisha talking to Vanessa downstairs giving a tour of the shop, I wonder if she bought anything? I borrowed some of Trisha's jazz records, which she keeps well hidden, for my bath, very soothing. People don't expect her to like that kind of music because of the way she looks and dresses, but I dress like candy floss and love a band like The Black Tubes...

Which reminds me, did you know I used to sing? (proof!) Nothing special, but I asked to be put under a different name so I won't be bothered as much. Trisha sings too. ;)

I'm gonna get dressed and head down...who knows, maybe more customers will come in?

Rumble-y in my Tummy

Yum. Nothing like malasadas and coffee to start the day! Hilde's upstairs taking a bubble bath, playing my jazz records. Strange, she never used to do that before... Maybe meeting Howard at the Nabootique had an effect ;) Although I have yet to meet Howard, I'd like to invite him to see this band from Japan called 'The Seatbelts'. They are pretty amazing! (Check 'em out!)

Vanessa's here, so I'd better tend to her since she's a fellow customer! ;)

hard at work?

Whew! I've finally put my skills to the test as a potion maker to help out Erin. Vanessa seemed to like the idea of a potions class, as well so I'm going to put out the idea with Trisha. I think she'd love it! Bring people and money to the shop. This'll be awesome.

Oh, and the party? No we didn't go, but we still had a cool nighttime picnic with a special 'Man of Action'. Trisha's getting pretty close, but I wonder if she's changed after spending time in Howard's room. *giggles*

Trisha's going to do something terribly risky for a bunch of strangers... But that's one of the things I really admire about her :)
I hope all turns out well. i guess we'll have to check the Zoo for Animal Offenders another time. I even got the cutest outfit for sneaking around i the forest too! :)

big fat bummer.

I'm in my room on my computer while Trisha's out having tea with some new "clients" of ours. *sigh* This bites, because apparently they're going to that party we can't go too. Godammit!!! Pardon me, but I just can't help but be mad. Knowing that The Black Tubes are going to be so close yet so far, really...angers me. I'm not one to swear, sorry.

That girl, who I shall not name, is quite nice though. Apparently she likes someone! ♥ Oh he's so in denial, I can tell! But I really shouldn't gossip. Bad habit! *hits self on head* Haha. This is quite soothing actually! I think I'll put a record on to better the mood! I hope Trisha and the group outside don't mind!

By the way, must remember to take up kendo! That sounds great, doesn't it? I loved old-fashioned fighting arts! My samurai swords need sharpening, as well! ;)

Why bother?

Trisha's angry again with that Anthrax girl. She's gone out on the rooftop to have a smoke. Shame we can't go, but I guess that's what we get for over-reacting, but why not? Especially, if it's a band we love? But let's not continue on that subject.

Instead of going to the birthday party, which we're not allowed anyway, we'll probably explore the town. There's this shady forested area that I've been looking to explore. I heard there's a zoo there. Strange, because Trisha and I have only been to the Zoo-niverse so far... Speaking of the Zoo-niverse I hope Mr. Dixon Bainbridge is okay... Trisha came home a bit weirded out, so I hope things are doing good. As for me, I've been breaking in some new equipment in our flat! Cooking-wise! I've baked some delicious cookies and cakes I know Trish will love! Cafe London, eat your heart out!

First we run into THE BEST BAND EVER in our own shop, get invited to their gig...and now...and now...

Basically this good-for-nothing says she overrides the band's decision to invite us and now we're both terribly upset. *cracks knuckles*
We'll show her...

Well, I guess we'll see if someone's karma will go down the toilet....

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG

I never thought Hilde and I would ever use this thing, but:

THE FUCKING BLACK TUBES JUST CAME INTO OUR SHOP!!!
And now, back to being sane, even for the shortest of moments... Let's see if I can recall what happened. I originally came pissed from working with Dixon Bainbridge at the Zoo-Niverse. He's gone all wrong in his mind tank and I might enlist some help from Hilde, or even outside help. I cringe at the thought. But I digress. I SAW THE BLACK TUBES!!! Faris and Tom bought fireworks, Josh bought Hilde's parasol, Joe got a crown, and Rhys...I'm sorry I just blacked out there. Rhys got this beautiful scarf that I made myself *squee*. I even gave some special fireworks I got from China! Ooh, I hope they love it!

Hilde here, and Trisha has already said we've been thinking today. She forgot to mention that they're having a gig at the Velvet Onion and Joe invited us! *swoons* But what to wear?

Salutations!

Hello fellow readers, wherever and whoever you are! *crickets*
I'm just kidding! It's Trisha, your fellow shopkeeper from Aurelia Sophia! Y'know the really cute shop located at the Anywhere Square? Hilde and I both decided to make a blog of our daily antics, well more her than me, but I figured, What the hell! It'd be good for our shop and maybe get me some friends. Actually, the friends part was her idea, but whatever make her shut up, I mean happy. *awkward grin*
Anyway, there's more to our lives than just being shopkeeper's of a Lolita fashion boutique. I can't think of anything right now, but there's definitely something. Maybe Hilde can think of something, I'll go get her!

Hey everyone, it's Hilde! I'm so glad we could do this blogger thing! Trisha and I thought we'd share blogs to make it more fun (actually, Trish is too lazy to -- ow!) ...Anyway, what can I say? I hope you're all enjoying yourselves considering this is our first post! *pops confetti and toots horn* ...I'll clean that up, I swear! (yeesh.) Well as a quick update about our shop, we've got new headdresses in, not to mention we've got some great new shoes from Vivienne Westwood! Eek! I'm so excited! But enough about that! I can hear the teapot calling me; it's my turn to make the tea today!
